Hi Parents,

Just a few reminders:
Field Clean-Up:
Saturday, 02.22.20 is our Field Clean-up Day. B Division will be at Marshall. As a reminder, the more participants we have come down to Field Clean-Up, the better priority we will receive for selecting our regular season practice day/time.
10:00am-11:00am - B-Division

11:00am - Scorekeeping Clinic - We are in dire need of parent volunteers! We are responsible for keeping score when we are the home team.

Equipment Needed: Please bring weed eaters, clippers, rakes, shovels, gloves, small generators (for powering the sanders needed for the benches) if you have them. Also, please be on time and sign-in to get an assignment.

Season Schedules:

Season Schedules will be posted soon.  You will notice that we are playing Monday - Saturday, including Friday games.

Important Dates:

Saturday Feb 2/22 - All Fields Clean-Up Day | 10AM | Marshall Field

Monday 3/2 - Practice Games Start

Saturday 3/7 - Opening Day

Sunday 3/22 - Community Day/Picture Day | 12PM - 4PM | Canyon Middle School

Wednesday 3/25 - The Habit Burger Grill Group Dining | 3PM - 9PM | Castro Valley

Parent Code of Conduct

CVI requires that ALL parents, guardians and regular spectators sign a Parent Code of Conduct before the start of the season. You may download a copy from the CVI Website  under "Forms”. Managers and/or Team Coordinator will collect signed forms and must keep them in a binder available for inspection at the field at all times by our Compliance Officer.

Team Uniforms:

The league will provide all players with their jersey, baseball hat and socks.

Each player will be responsible for providing the following to complete their uniform:

Pants - White for game days.

Belt - Dark Green

Undershirt (if worn) - Yellow or green ONLY (must be a solid color, not white or grey)

Baseball Cleats - No metal cleats

It is also important that every player has a baseball glove, bat, a cup and batting helmet. A baseball bag is useful to keep equipment organized, but not a required part of play. ALL player equipment should be labeled with player name. I repeat, ALL player equipment should be labeled.

Team Dogs:

Please plan on supporting CVI’s Team Dog program during your Spring Baseball Season. CVI does not ask players to sell candy bars, wrapping paper, popcorn or other door-to-door products; instead we ask families to support our snack bar. Participating in team snack after the game is also a great opportunity for coaches to meet with players after the game and celebrate playing together - win or lose. Family. Fun. Sports.

Thanks so much for your time!

Coach Jerry

Good evening Rollie Fingers parents,

We have received our uniforms and will be having everyone's last names put on the back, the cost is $5 per jersey. We are also having each player's number put on their caps (that's a freebie courtesy of Jill Peters, thanks Jill!) I will be dropping off the jerseys this Saturday and we should have them back next week. Opening day is March 7 so we should get them back in plenty of time. If you could please either give the money to coach Jerry at the next practice or you can Venmo me @Claudia-Gabaldon.

February 22 Field clean up day. Remember that the teams with the most participation get the first choice in practice days and times.

March 7 is Opening Day

March 22 is Picture Day at Canyon Middle School -our team time will be announced

Please let me know if you have any questions!
